Competition Requirements

This show will be conducted and judged in accordance with the Working Horse Central LLC rules. The rules can be found here. It is the Pass Holder’s responsibility to read and understand the rules prior to the competition.

All competitors must have purchased a competition pass prior to entering. Each pass is good for one horse and rider combination. To compete for year end high point awards, a year end award pass must be purchased. Passes may be purchased here.

Information before the show will be communicated to competitors via email. Please ensure that show management has your correct email address.

First Ride will be at 9:00 a.m. Functionality will run first. Trail phase will commence once Functionality is complete. Agility will be the last phase of the day.

Rules & Regulations

Hold Harmless Clause: Understanding that horse sports may be hazardous and dangerous, even leading to permanent injury or death, each owner, rider, spectator, and other participant assumes any and all risk of loss or injury and agrees to hold harmless, regardless, the horse show personnel and the facility and organization hosting the show, Spring Fling at Chappell Hill. TNT Quarter Horses, LLC and Working Horse Central, LLC. will not be responsible for any damage, injury, or loss to persons, horses, or property of exhibitors, spectators, or grooms. All local facility rules must be followed.

Media Release Agreement: I agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, or other likenesses of me and/or my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion or benefit of the competition or sport. These likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in any way to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or misappropriation.

Use of Protective Headgear: Youth exhibitors must wear ASTM/SEI-approved protective headgear at all times whenever mounted on the show grounds. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. Any rider violating this rule at any time will be prohibited from further riding until such headgear is properly in place. All individuals involved with Working Horse Central, LLC (WHC) are considered willing participants fully aware of the dangers of working with and around livestock to include but not limited to equine, bovine and canine.

Please Note: Videos submitted for virtual events will be used to educate officials during training session.

Participant agrees to indemnify and hold Working Horse Central, LLC, show hosts or any person associated with WHC harmless for any loss, injury, death, illness, and or accident including consequential damages to the participant or animals owned by the participant. Participant understands the dangers associated with being around horses and takes full responsibility for injury, illness, or death and agrees to hold WHC harmless. Participant shall bear all risk of loss from the death or any harm to said horse or participants caused by said horse.

UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.

The participant takes full responsibility for informing any persons which they bring to a WorkingHorse, LLC event of the dangers associated with being an equine participant, including but not limited to death. Working Horse Central, LLC takes no responsibility for any injuries, or any damages caused to participants or participant properties while participating in Working Horse Central, LLC events.

Working Horse Central, LLC is not responsible for any injuries or any illnesses, including death, to participant’s horse. All participants agree and realize the severity of injuries and damages caused by animals including but not limited to death, paralysis, head injuries, broken bones, etc. and agree WHC is not to be held responsible for said injuries and damages.

Working Horse Central, LLC or anyone associated with Working Horse Central, LLC shall not be held responsible for death of participant or horse, injury to participant or horse, illness to participant or horse, accident, fire, or theft of horse and equipment. All participants under 18 riding in a Working Horse Central, LLC event are required to wear protective headgear when mounted. All riders working over jumps must wear protective headgear. Riders over 18 may choose not to wear protective headgear, though it is strongly recommended by Working Horse Central, LLC that all riders should wear protective headgear for their safety. If the rider chooses not to wear protective headgear, they assume all responsibility for injuries and damages caused from the lack of protective headgear and can in no way hold Working Horse Central, LLC responsible for these injuries.

I acknowledge that the liability release waives important legal rights. I have read it carefully before signing. By signing below, I AGREE to be bound by all applicable Working Horse Central LLC rules, regulation and by all terms and provisions of this agreement.

Entry Procedures


An entry form is not valid unless it is fully completed and has all the proper signatures, pass holder numbers, and horse information. Mail entry fees to: 2468 County Road 346 Milano, Texas 76556 Checks should be made payable to Working Horse Central LLC. Payments may be made via PayPal: finance@workinghorsecentral.com No refunds without veterinary or doctors note. This show is limited to fifteen (15) entries. A waiting list will be kept. The show will be filled first come, first served. Ten entries must be received or the show will be canceled. Entries may be submitted at any time after the opening date and before the closing date. A separate entry form must be completed for each horse-rider combination. No phone entries will be accepted. Entries postmarked after the closing date, February 14, 2026, will not be accepted without a late fee. Photocopy of a negative Coggins test, dated within one year of the show, must accompany the entry form.

Show Fees


One Phase: $60 Two Phases: $95 All Phases: $125 Stabling Fee Per Night (limited stalls available): $30 Shavings per Bag (must be purchased from facility): $10 Late Entries may be accepted, if room, for a $25 late entry fee.

Prizes & Awards


Ribbons will be awarded to fifth place. Riders must be present to receive prizes. An awards ceremony will be held at the end of the competition day.
